FARMING ROOIBOS

What makes Tanqua Single Estate Rooibos special?

Our rooibos gardens are all above 2000ft elevation. The elevation at which a rooibos plant is growing influences almost every aspect of its development process; from aroma and flavor to nutritional value. Due to the high altitude and cooler climate Tanqua rooibos is slow growing and matures later than normal.

Patience in allowing new growth to mature rewards our tea-master with ripeness of leaf from which a bouqet of rich and complex flavours can be extracted.

Tanqua rooibos is slow matured and classy, with complexity of flavor and a soft sweet aftertaste.
